Tanya's path to interior design began in the world of theater and visual arts, building & performing on sets and managing art exhibits while she was in college in Houston, Texas. Marriage and military life brought a steady rhythm of change · new duty stations, new homes, new starts · and each move became a chance to reinvent a space and sharpen her eye. Every house was an opportunity to transform four walls into something that felt less like a place to live and more like a place to call "Home."

Travel has shaped her design sense in ways that show up throughout her work. Every place she's visited has left its mark · through culture, flavor, architecture, or simply raw beauty · and she finds inspiration everywhere: the vibrant bluebonnets of Texas, the pottery craftsmanship of North Carolina, the rich history of Washington, D.C., the diverse art scene of New York City, the towering Grand Tetons of Wyoming, the sacred temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia. These places, and many more, have woven themselves into a creative vision shaped by history, architecture & culture.

When she's not sketching new ideas for her own home, you'll find her painting, capturing snapshots of everyday life, cooking & enjoying good food, exploring somewhere new, or spending time with family and friends. That same curiosity · noticing the small, specific details that make a place feel like you · is what she brings into every client relationship.
